I have been taking pictures since getting my first camera as a boy when I traded in cereal box tops. I soon graduated to my fathers range finder and started shooting Kodachrome transparencies. I loved those first "slide shows" with our Kodak projector. I got my first 35 mm SLR in high school and worked on the annual staff.

I began traveling internationally in 1980 and shot 35mm slide film until going digital a few years ago. The images on this site are a mixture of scanned images from my archive and the newer digital files.

I was honored in 2002 with "Best in Show" for the "Guatemalan Ladies" (in the Featured Images Gallery) at the Seawall Arts Festival.

I welcome your comments and questions and hope you enjoy looking at these images.

Thank you,

Mark
